so he doesn't need the gears that are in the spare trucks rear axle? your post made it sound like he did so that's why i offered up that suggestion. i'd just swap rear axle's out, or pull the 3rd's and swap em if nothing else is wrong with your axle and nothing changed between the years.

i wasnt snappin at you mna i understand what you are saying and im still confused as to what he is doing. All I know is that when hes done my truck will work again lol

finally got truck back switched axels all new breaks pinion seal and all bearings for 490 is that good or did i get ripped off?
