Cluster color change,

Ok. well i went to do my cluster color change today in a 01 ext cab
And i had ordered 7, T10 Wedge LEDs, and 2, 74 LEDs.
The T10s were here. http://autolumination.com/194.htm
they are the 25th choice of bulbs, i got the frosted ones.
The 74s were, http://autolumination.com/74.htm
they were sixth from the top.

And as i take apart the whole inside of my trucks dash i get to the lights to replace them, and I thought the T10s went into the dash? but apparently not.... Bc the bulbs were too big to fit through the hole in the board. And after twisting out my stock bulbs I attempted to remove the bulb from the base and i couldnt... I dont know if they are supposed to or not. And it also looked like the 74s would fit into the twist lock base if i could have removed the stock bulbs, but yet again im not sure that those are the right bulbs, and if they are the right bulbs if i have the right style.

The T10 wedges i got fit into the HVAC unit, and into the side lights in my doors.

So my question would be, Do i need the 74s for my dash? and if so what style?
bc on autolumination there as so many different styles, I dont know which ones to pick.

And if i have the wrong bulbs, (which im almost positive i do....) could anyone whose done this mod on a truck like mine please direct me to the correct bulbs.

Or does anyone know where I can buy, a fairly cheap black or white cluster overlay, with blue letters so i dont have to replace my bulbs at all......
Id rather go with this plan now, bc my stock over lay is messed up a lil anyways.

The 97-98 clusters came as blue from the factory, while the 99-03 came teal. Since the 99+ had PATS with the digital readout, the 4 secondary gauges are positioned differently, so they are not interchangeable, sorry.
