Bed bolts are a pain in the rust belt. I put my torx bit into my impact wrench and give it a few seconds on loosen, then a second on tighten, keeping that sequence going till the bolt comes out. That helps loosen the rust, haven't broken one yet!

if you break one let me know, ive got a few extra i can send your way if you want to stay OEM.

also its easier if you take the rear bumper off, so you dont have to go over it. Also you can set the axle on stands, and remove the rear wheels for more clearance as well.

A couple days before you start to remove the bed bolts, spray them with PB Blaster and they will come off so MUCH easier!

Thanks for all the tips patman i might take you up but more than liky will get some all thread and some nuts or something will figure it out.

my buddy did his body lift with 3 hockey pucks at each body mount and a chunk of all thread and 2 bolts worked well never had any probs at all.

yeah ill deff spray them pretty good and the truck will be jack standed for sure.

the rear bumper eh i donno when i put that on my buddy had to weld one of the brakets bc it spun. and it was a PITA to get it on there.

Thanks for all the info and tips guys!

Pad the front edges of the bed (especially if you can't remove the rear bumper), or you'll scratch the crap out of the back of your cab ... don't ask me how I know this
