its 4X4, the only reason i sold my Dodge was because it wasnt. only 2wd truck i will ever own. and i havent a clue as to why, never ever realized it until now honestly. but that will be going away soon for this, just have to trim it up a little since its for a 97-99 and throw a few coats of rattle can bed liner on until a wanna pay to get it sandblasted then i'll herculine it

pretty damn good deal for $200 i think. and if anyone has fogs that will fit in there i'll trade

yeah, just a quote for $75-100. might go ahead and do it, we'll see. trying to save up for a trip this spring, and that plus $60-$100 in Herc might wait til the spring

ETA got another quote for $300-400. gonna keep calling, still think ill hold off til spring

Sweet deal on that bumper, I would just leave it as is. That is until you have a bunch of extra cash laying around. And around these forums Motorcraft plugs seem to be the favorite, only bad reviews from all others, including E3.

ok, sounds good. dont really need plugs, i dont think. just trying to optimize. is is the first mod motor ive messed with much. i upgraded the ignition on my 5.0's, but thats another beast. is there much that can be done with the ignition to improve fuel economy?

and yeah, might sand it a little by hand an throw the rattle can on it. i hate rust more than i hate chrome

Your talkin to the wrong guy about ignitions, i would wait for somebody else to chime in on that subject. I would use a high speed air sander on it, it will definitely knock down on that rust, and save your back. If you do use that spray on bed liner on it, let me know how it goes. I'm going to pick up my Ranch Hand brush guard today after class and I may need to do the same thing, I won't know until I see it up close.

ive used it before as an undercoater and on touch up stots on my current grill guard. i wouldnt recommend it for long-term use, but its better than spray paint.when applying, if you dont use sweeping motions it bubbles much worse than spray paint, and then will not be as strong
