My battery light is on its been on for 3 days turns on fine and everything any ideas of what it might be?

Hate to state the obvious here, but have you taken your battery and alternator down to your local autozone\parts store and have them tested?

First suspect is corroded battery terminals which you can clean yourself with a wire brush or a specific tool for that available for $5 at any auto parts store.
If the terminals are clean and tight, next I would suspect the battery. As stated, any good parts store will load test it free of charge.
The alternator can be easily tested at home with a multimeter, again available cheap at an auto parts store, Wal Mart, Harbor Freight, etc.
By now you should be sensing a theme here that your solution lies where you will buy your parts to cure the problem.

And since you have known about this problem for 3 days, you should expect to wait more than an hour for anyone else to respond. If it isn't important enough to you to ask about it within a 3 day window of opportunity, why would you expect anyone else to respond within an hour's time? :lol:

Auto parts stores can test both the battery and the alternator in the vehicle. No need to pull them.
