Best way to fit 35's

As it sits now, my truck has 285's, and I really want to go to 35s.

So, whats the best or recommended way to get 35's under these trucks? BL or suspension? Recommended brands as well.

I have a leveling kit with 35's. You just need to throw away that front bumper! and have the right back space on your wheels.

3" body lift would be the cheapest. Use the mounting brackets for the bumpers and some gap guards and you can't even tell.

The easiest/cheapest thing is to just run 35x12.50's using the OEM wheels. They will rub the frame slightly at full steering lock. Next up would be a 3 inch body lift which will allow you the option of using aftermarket wheels. And of course, you can use a 4 to 6 inch suspension lift.

Any side pics Jesso? You put the lift on yourself?

I hear the BLs are a pain to install. Something about bumper relocating, steering extensions, etc... Anyone here put their BL on theirselfs? Wondering how much of a pain it was.

It's not that bad. It's just time consuming and tedious work. It took me an entire weekend but I was working by myself most of the time.

I have the fabtech 6 inch lift...its really hard on ball joints and wheel bearings but I dont go easy on the truck...I had new ball joints put in when I lifted it and 2 years later the joints were shot...only 10,000 km

I put my 4 inch rough country lift on myslef, took me about three days. Wasn't too bad, and all I had was a 3 ton Jack and hand tools.

I wouldent put a body lift on my truck. All suspension is the way to go. And heres a pic of the lift kinda from the side. Its a lil dirty in this pic i had just gone out to play in the dirt. I usually keep it clean.

I'm thinking I'm gonna run the BL at first since I just put these new bilstein shocks on, and would be a waste to get rid of them already.

Would a 2" BL work, or do I have to go with a 3"?

GO with the 3 inch kit. Everyting lines up better with the 3 inch kit.
