There is no need to remove your text from my thread.
To do so would actually interrupt the flow of dialogue and possibly hurt my campaign.
I meant no slight to the Kobiashi family name, yours or not.
As for my name 'Raoul' it is actually only my middle name, my first name is Ahmal.
Also the photo in my signature is not my own, it is my twin brother Juan.

Believe me if you've seen Juan, you've seen Ahmal.

Question for Raoul -

Hi Raoul,

I went to your announcement post where I had posted my response and my post is not even there anymore. While I had every intention of removing it, the fact that there is no trace of it at all gives me pause.

Do you have administrator privileges so that you can remove posts? If so, the possibility for unethical removal of any of my posts anywhere is kind of scary.

If you have such power, and/or have connections to have suck work done on your behalf, I need your assurances that such actions on your part will not be taken.

Kobi-

You see . . . THIS is the kind of writing, and intelligence, and humor, and all around greatness that would have been awesome on my team.

We could really use you here!!!

Please reconsider. Join me as my Vice Presidential running-mate. Together we can accomplish GREAT things!!!

I have made a commitment to a man that he would be Vice President of the United States. It took a lot of convincing. I could not dump him now. He would be devastated. I do not think he could recover from the shock.

Even as we speak, he is carrying three large bags of aluminum cans to the recycling center to raise funds for our campaign.

(If he should be arrested or wanders off I will consider you proposal)

PRESS RELEASE:

Wednesday, 17 August

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

KOBIASHI '08 CAMPAIGN CONSIDERING VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES

Kobiashi, leading candidate for President in 2008, has NOT announced a Vice Presidential running-mate and has stated that he will not choose one anytime soon.

Kobi had planned to offer the position to Raoul, but before he could make that offer, Raoul announced that he would also be entering the presidential race.

"I'm disappointed that Raoul will not be my running-mate," the candidate said in a recent press conference at the L.A. Press Club, "however, I believe Raoul will make an excellent candidate and would make an excellent president if he were to be elected . . . which won't happen."

Recent speculation in the press have listed various persons as possible Vice Presidential candidates, ranging anywhere from Ted Turner to Orpah Winfrey, to some guy named Alex Wentworth who is a caddie at Cyprus Point Country Club. Kobiashi has stated for the record that no one listed is being considered. When asked specifically about Oprah, Kobi replied, "When Hell freezes over!"

KOBIASHI '08 CAMPAIGN ACQUIRES BOEING 777

The Kobiashi For President in 2008™ Campaign acquired a Boeing 777 for campaign use.

The Aircraft contains a conference room, a communications center, a press area which has all first-class style seating, and a private area for the candidate and his friends and family."

The candidate, during his public announcement at the aircraft's unveiling said,
"We're very excited about this plane. It's everything we'd hoped for and more and it's a great symbol for us. We look forward to traveling throughout this great nation to meet with all of its great people and spread our message. Now, I just hope the pilot will give me some lessons and let me fly it!"

The Boeing 777, christened "Caroline", after the candidate's late wife, is presently at its home base at LAX, near the candidate's home in Los Angeles.
