Watch This 2014 F-150’s Journey from Stock to Sweet

It’s a story that most of us are familiar with: buy a new truck, promise your spouse that you will keep it stock, then proceed to make a million changes to it — all in the name of “safety,” “convenience,” and “camping.” With so many awesome aftermarket parts out there, we just can’t resist the urge to make our trucks better.

This video demonstrates a transformation many of us will identify with. It takes place over a two-year period, as a stock 2014 F-150 is purchased with low expectations, yet undergoes a major transformation, much to the disdain of the owner’s wife.

The owner, not content with many of the changes made along the way, goes through two sets of headlights, three sets of mirrors, three sets of tires (all different sizes), three sets of wheels, and four sets of door handles before settling (we hope) on the final build.

There are a ton of other mods as well, from the exhaust to a camper shell to fender flares to a roof rack. All of which are explained to his wife in a hilariously familiar way. Most of us have been down this road a few times, as the urge to improve our rides is just too strong. But as this guy proves that a little valid reasoning is all you need.
