Often times, it can be a bit of a downgrade to beef up your 2011-current Ford F-150’s inside rearview mirror.

To keep your truck’s compass functional, you may have fallen victim to hiding the OEM mirror somewhere inside your dash panel after installing a rear-camera-enabled mirror. That’s almost as bad as agreeing to an iPhone 5 chest implant, so your new iPhone 5s can function.

If you are human, and can breathe, chances are you prefer clean installs to sloppy ones. Thanks to Brandmotion, upgrading your truck’s rear vision just got a lot easier. They offer a new rear-camera-linked mirror equipped with a built-in gyroscope, so all you have to do is swap your old mirror with Brandmotion’s, and you’re left with an install as uncluttered and simple as Mr. Clean’s hairdo.

Brandmotion’s product features a disappearing 3.5-inch color display, and a 16-pin connection that seamlessly integrates the device with other vehicle systems.

In keeping with a clean installation, the rear-view CCD camera is embedded inside a replacement Ford tailgate emblem that comes with the mirror kit.
