Ohio’s Beechmont Ford might not be the first Ford dealer to offer a retro-styled F-150, but they might just be the best.

Throughout the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, we enjoyed some of the best looking trucks in history. And even though the basic shape of Ford trucks themselves varied greatly over these three decades, there were a few constants. Among them – two-tone paint, simple aluminum wheels, and lots of chrome. Many of us wish these things hadn’t died out, a desire that’s spurned several Ford dealerships to offer up retro styling packages on brand new F-150 and Super Duty pickups.

The latest comes to us from Beechmont Ford in Cincinnati, Ohio. And it might just be the best one yet. They call this special package the BFP Retro F-150, and it packs just about everything we love about old trucks into a shiny new 2019 F-150. The most obvious change comes in the form of that “two-tone paint,” which is actually just white vinyl wrap. Talk about applying modern tech to an ages-old idea!

As far as chrome goes, well, that’s really up to you. Customers can build their own retro F-150 using any available trim package. But for the full old school effect, Beechmont recommends starting with either an XLT or Lariat with the chrome package. From there, they add their “Retro” package that includes a 3.5″ Ready Lift and 17″ polished Mickey Thompson wheels wrapped in 35″ BF Goodrich All-Terrain K02 tires.

Many retro packages stop there, but Beechmont goes the extra mile with a few other cool features. Like that killer Black Horse bed rack fitted with old school KC Hi-Lights. Obviously, V8 engines ruled the truck world back in the day, so this particular model has a 5.0-liter Coyote under the hood. Thus, Beechmont also unleashes a little extra sound with a Roush Performance catback exhaust.

If you want to turn your retro F-150 into a muscle car killer, they’ve got you covered there, too. Simply tack on a Roush or Whipple supercharger, and you’ll be pumping out prodigious ponies in no time. But most importantly, you’ll look awesome everywhere you go. Because Beechmont’s BFP Retro F-150 certainly isn’t the first truck to bring back the old days. But it might just be the best!
