NBA legend’s new ride is ‘Extreme’-ly cool, offering a commercial-size rig with luxury-car comfort.

When you’re 7’1″ tall and weigh 325 pounds with a size 23 shoe, truck shopping is a little different. Simply fitting into a half-ton pickup can prove to be a challenge, after all. So when notable automotive enthusiast, former NBA legend, TV personality, movie star, and rapper Shaquille O’Neal needs a truck, he needs something a little different than most Americans. Something like this insane F-650 Extreme.

The giant rig is the creation of SuperTruck, a custom outfit located in Augusta, Georgia. For 14 years they’ve done nothing but build magazine-worthy Ford F-650 trucks for a number of discerning clients. Buyers can opt for a huge list of options, or have pretty much whatever they wish custom made. The result is a commercial-size rig with luxury-car comfort.

Shaq opted for the “Extreme” package, which comes with a 6.7 liter Power Stroke turbo diesel pumping out 330 hp and 725 lb-ft of torque. It has a full pickup conversion, with massive 22.5″ aluminum wheels and huge stainless steel fuel tanks to feed the hungry motor. Inside, there’s a full leather interior and a thumping sound system with 12 speakers and a pair of amps.

Fittingly, the whole thing stands at 7’5″ tall, so Shaq doesn’t have to look down on his new truck. From the looks of the video he tweeted out after picking up the ride from Wade Ford in Smyrna, Georgia, he’s pretty stoked about it too. We sure can’t blame him, because we’d be pretty excited to own something this awesome too.
