SEMA 2013: MAD Industries 675 Horsepower Street Truck

There are so many Ford Trucks at SEMA this year, you’d think they owned the place. Luckily, they’re all pretty different from each other. Take MAD Industries and DSO Eyewear’s F-150 for instance. In the sea of high rise, Super Duty behemoths, this one stood out as the type of custom truck that makes sense to drive in the confines of civilization.

Don’t go thinking that it’s soft though. They’ve got a 6.2 liter V8 under the hood. It’s being force feed boost by a twin-screw Whipple supercharger. All told it makes 675 horsepower and 650 torque. So yeah. It’s fast.

The paint is done by BASF and the body kit by 3dCarbon. To get that street-ready stance, they equipped it with Belltech lowering struts and a 4″ flip kit. My favorite bit were the LED running lights. They really stand out. PIAA is responsible for that bit of kit.
