2011 Ford F-150 Lariat Limited

Ford built just 3,700 F-150 Limited models for the U.S. in 2011, with all the luxury goodies and a Raptor V8!

Everyone knows that in the Ford F-150 hierarchy, the Limited stands alone at the top. If you want the best-of-the-best in terms of comfort, luxury, and performance, you simply can’t do any better. Yet, most of us think of the Limited as a fairly new model. But it was actually around on the previous, 12th generation F-150. And if you didn’t know that, there’s a very good reason why. Ford didn’t build very many of them at all.

In fact, this beautiful example up for grabs in the F-150 Online Marketplace is actually one of just 3,700 built for U.S. consumption in 2011. Ford also built 1,100 additional units for Canada.  These trucks were truly top of the line, already equipped with pretty much every available option at the time. According to Gear FX, every one of these trucks were SuperCrews painted White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat.

It didn’t take Ford long to realize that a lot of folks were interested in these supremely luxurious trucks. Thus, in subsequent years, they produced them in unlimited quantities. That fact alone makes the 2011 model a bit of a collector’s item. And this example might be the nicest one left. It does have 111,000 miles on the odometer, but it’s also in truly exceptional condition.

While these trucks came with a plethora of options, our favorite is the one that lies under the hood. There you’ll find the mighty 6.2-liter V8 lifted from the Raptor. It produces a healthy 434 horsepower and 453 lb-ft of torque in this guise, sending power back to a 3.73-geared limited slip rear end. That alone should make this F-150 quite a lot of fun out on the open road.

This particular F-150 Limited also sports a long list of tasteful mods. They include a mix of HID and LED lighting and custom billet badges. A handheld programmer and ECU tune, along with beefier sway bars, ups performance. Cross drilled and slotted brake rotors help the truck stop in a hurry, while a dark tint keeps the comfy cabin cool. And that’s just touching the surface on what’s been done to this F-150.

With a lofty original sticker price and hefty list of additions, this F-150 Limited seems like a pretty solid deal at the asking price of $25,500. And considering the fact that it’s a rare model among the world’s best-selling pickup, it should also make quite the nice conversation piece for its lucky new owner, too!
