Poor Man’s Ford Raptor Raises Lots of Questions

Someone’s attempt at turning a base F-150 into a Ford Raptor didn’t go over too well.

For decades, folks have been slapping aftermarket parts on their rides in an attempt to make them something special or unique. This, of course, includes sourcing parts from limited production vehicles. It’s why you can order things like Ford Raptor grilles, bumpers, and wheels to affix to your plain Jane F-150. Which is fine, for the most part. But this particular 2016 F-150 might have just taken things a bit too far.

We’re not referring to the front grille, bumper, or even the rear lighting. But rather, that silly Raptor badge on the tailgate. And we aren’t the only ones who have a problem with the faux Ford Raptor, either. Reddit user My_Broken_Wings posted pictures of the poser for everyone to poke fun at, and provided us with a few details.

“It’s a brodozer 100%. It looks nice. But that’s about it. No different really than any other base model F-150 you’d see. Interior is cloth. Has a stereo screen smaller than my own phone’s. Guess prior owner slapped the Raptor badge on it. Has Fox shocks, so that’s a decent upgrade. More so than the wheels I’d gather.”
