ICON Vehicle Dynamics continues to introduce new suspension systems for the 2014 Ford F150 to maximize wheel travel and clearance while not sacrificing drivability and towing performance! With 5 different stages and upgradeable shock packages, there is a suspension system for every budget. Let’s go and breakdown each level with ICON Vehicle Dynamics and their 2014 F150 2WD Suspension Systems.

With everything that ICON does in suspension, the IVD Suspension Systems for the 2014 Ford F150 2WD is engineered to focus on increased wheel travel and the damping ability of the shocks in each package. This give greater vehicle control over the desert trails while retaining great ride quality on the highway. Each system package is designed to give a lift of 0 to 3 inches, which will allow for larger tires up to 33×11.50 and 9 inch wide wheels with a 5 inch backspacing but you could fit larger if you’re willing to trim fenders or do more clearancing in the wheel wells.

However, the best part about all of these systems, from the basic Stage 1 to the ultimate Stage 5, is that they are all completely bolt-on. No welding, cutting, or drilling to install the suspension system itself. The backyard mechanic could do this and then take it to his local alignment shop to get the wheels straight again.

Stage 1 consists of a very basic kit with 2.5 inch diameter ICON Coilover Shocks for the front and 2.0 inch diameter Shocks for the rear. The coilovers feature a threaded aluminum bodies with threaded collars sitting over the Eibach springs. They are coated in a CAD Plating for corrosion resistance and the lower shock mounts feature FK rod end bearings.

Stage 2 includes a pair of ICON’s Uniball Upper Control Arms on top of the shocks for added strength, durability, and added alignment adjustments.

Stage 3 upgrades the rear shocks to 2.5 inch diameter ICON Piggyback Reservoir shocks.

Stage 4 upgrades the front coilovers to ICON External Reservoir Coilovers for further cooling capabilities in aggressive off road driving. Going with an external reservoir keeps the dampening of the shocks more consistent as the cooler oil will not thin out and change its dampening properties.

Stage 5 upgrades the front and rear shocks to ICON’s CDCV Adjustable Shocks. The adjustments are made at the reservoirs and change the compression damping for a softer ride over the whoops, a smoother landing on smaller jumps, or can affect how the truck will corner with a stiffer adjustment to the outside wheels.

Features:
• Increased wheel travel and ride quality over stock with no change in towing capacity
• Vehicle specific tuned 2.5″ front and rear shocks for superior shock damping and control

• Uniball control arms for added strength, durability, and alignment spec range
• 100% Bolt-on system – no drilling, cutting, or welding necessary for install
• Remote reservoir option with CDCV adjuster available
• Made in the USA
