Hold My Beer Friday: The $1 Ford F-150

While Hold My Beer Fridays are usually dedicated to clips of action packed stunts, parody and hilarity, the week’s entry takes a break from the craziness to show you the process of turning a $1 Ford F-150 into a $99 running, freshly painted F-150.

According to the video’s poster, he found this 1989 F-150 sitting in the woods and asked its owners how much they’d take for it.  They told $1 if he would tow it away.  With a battery and a little fuel, it fired right up and has ran fine since.  He then did a little sanding and rolled on $50 worth of Rust-Oleum paint and called it a day.

With the cost of the new battery factored in, the owner estimates he’s got about $100 total invested in what has since become his daily driver.
