Ford F-150 Gets Major Dose of Aggression from Raptor Face

Ford F-150

Most people are digging the way this Raptorfied Ford F-150 looks. But do you agree, or do you find it a bit tacky?

Without a doubt, one of the most popular modifications for the Ford F-150 these days is installing a Raptor grille. And there are a number of reasons for that. For starters, they’re pretty cheap, with a price tag often below $400. They’re also easy to install, requiring no cutting or other permanent modifications. And installing a Raptor grille on your Ford F-150 also adds a touch of aggression to it, obviously.

All of those reasons convinced Reddit user bigfeenx to take the plunge with his F-150 recently. And the results? Well, they pretty much speak for themselves. But it’s always nice to have some sort of confirmation from others, and the OP’s fellow Redditors were more than happy to share their feelings on the swap, too.

“I like the XLT Sport with the 5 thin black bars, but definitely prefer yours over the chrome,” said Zarknox. “This looks great!” added newtbutts. “I came to this sub today specifically to check for this update. Looks good. First 2018 model I’ve seen with the Raptor style grille. I saw the grilles themselves and was worried they looked odd but now that I see it installed, looks badass,” said xFulcrum.

Considering the fact that the OP paid a mere $399 for the grille and installed it using only basic hand tools, we’d call that a win. But still, we want to know what you think. Do you feel like swapping a Raptor grille on a regular Ford F-150 is a no-brainer mod? Or do you feel like it’s tacky to put anything from the high-performance SVT pickup on a regular one?
