Ford F-150 Earns “Most American Made” from Kogod School of Business

Well, how about that. The F-150 is the most “American made vehicle” in… Well, America. That’s probably not so interesting considering how popular the F-150 is in general. What’s interesting is that it actually shares that top spot with another car.

And no, it’s not the Camry.

According to the Kogod School of Business’ calculations, the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is sitting pretty at the top spot along side the F150. Not a bad bunk mate.

It’s worth mentioning that this report is different from the one usually put out by Cars.com, but I like the Kogod methodology more. They took into account where the company is located, where research and development took place, where they built the engine, the body, et cetera. It’s fairly thorough.

See what other, less-american, cars round out the list here.
