Raptor Too Tame for You? Meet the MegaRaptor!

MegaRaptor

F-250 is the F-150 Raptor on steroids.

For some guys, more is never enough. Take the new Ford Raptor, for example. With boatloads of power and incredible off road handling, it’s hard to imagine that anyone would ever want for more. But apparently some people do. And a little company by the name of F250R is there to fill that void. As you can guess by the name, they build the truck that Ford doesn’t – the F-250 MegaRaptor.

The F-150 based Raptor is already a massive truck by most folk’s standards. But the MegaRaptor, is, well, even more massive. And it solves a problem for folks who want a truck that looks and drives like a regular Raptor yet need to tow massive loads. That real world capability comes courtesy of one of our favorite engines – the 6.7 liter Power Stroke diesel.

For a mere $28,000 (not including options) plus a donor F-250, F-250R will turn your boring Super Duty into this incredible beast. This is no fly by night hack job, either. The company takes pride in their quality of work, which is evident in the finished product. And oh, what a finished product.

All of the incredible wide, added body panels are crafted from fiberglass. The lights are straight from an F-150 Raptor, and the front clip is designed to look much like one. Icon suspension parts give it a 4″ lift, and it sits on MRAP wheels wrapped in 46″ Michelin XZL tires. Other suspension goodies include Bilstein shocks and an adjustable track bar.

From there, you can add on just about anything your heart desires. Custom leather interiors, exhaust and gearing upgrades, bumpers, spare tire carriers, off road lighting, you name it. Simply tell the guys at F250R what you want, and they’ll have it ready in around 4-6 weeks. And the first time you roll up on a guy in a “little” F-150 Raptor, it’ll all be worth it.
