Carlisle Events’ Florida AutoFest: Cure for the Winter Blues

Florida AutoFest

It might be cold and dreary in most of the country, but there are plenty of hot Ford trucks invading Florida this weekend!

For most of the country, February weather doesn’t really inspire you to want to go outside. But for those around or in Lakeland, Florida on February 23-25, that won’t be the case. Because Carlisle Events’ Winter Florida AutoFest rolls into town this weekend with a massive event guaranteed to satisfy anyone who loves old cars and trucks. And that obviously includes fans of Ford trucks!

For starters, each day of the event features a free cruise-in chock full of amazing rides. Best of all, participation is free! And awards will be handed out to the best of the bunch. Once you get tired of cruising, head over to the swap meet and car corral, one of the largest in the entire region. It’s there that you’ll find loads of parts and sweet rides for sale!

If you prefer your buying experience with a little more action, there’s also a 400+ car auction going down. Best of all, the auction utilizes a unique “Free Unless Sold” policy. If your car or truck doesn’t sell, your registration fees are refunded! It’s truly a win-win for everyone. Not to mention a great way to get more vehicles across the block.

Fans of aviation can even take a ride in a vintage Stearman Bi-Plane and scope out some amazing vintage planes at the Sun N’ Fun Aerospace Museum. And if that isn’t enough to get you out of the house on a nasty February day, we don’t know what is!
