This is the 2013 Shelby Raptor

ShelbyRaptor-2013The guys at Pickuptrucks.com recently got the chance to test out the new 2013 Shelby Raptor. Shelby might make you think Mustangs, but they do trucks, too! The Shelby treatment includes a Shelby/Whipple supercharger and intercooler, which bumps the horsepower to 575 hp (stock Raptors are rated at 411 hp). Other changes include a “Stinger” exhaust and stainless Borla dual exhaust tips, a few interior tweaks and Shelby Method 18-inch wheels with 35/12.50 R18LT BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires (Shelby left the awesome Raptor suspension alone). These changes run about $18,000 not including the wheels. But even though that can bring a Raptor up over $70k, the Pickuptrucks.com guys came away plenty impressed.
