2013 Raptor Tackles Terrain at Dearborn Testing Grounds
Most of the user videos on youtube of the Raptor aren’t really exciting. They’re doing donuts in the dirt, or rutting around in the sand, sometimes they’re even crawling through the mud. You can’t don’t really get a feel for how well the truck’s suspension is working because there’s a lack of visual input from outside the cockpit.

This short video is a little bit better about that. It was shot at a Ford’s Dearborn plant where they put trucks through their off-road gauntlet. The driver is actually the engineer at Ford, so he doesn’t really show any trepidation when putting the Raptor through it’s paces. It’s a great video to see how the truck’s engineering handles in real life (it doesn’t hurt that the driver knows what he’s talking about either). The best part though has got to be those sweet dirt rooster tails the truck start’s spraying when he gets on it.
