Canadians and their trucks. There seems to be a deep amount of pride when it comes to owning a truck in Canada. Well, to be honest with you, there is a deep amount of pride when it comes to owning a truck throughout the majority of he United States as well, but that’s beside the point.
The 1980s was a very weird time with weird fashion, weird music and weird advertising. This week’s Throwback video features a commercial for the 1986 Ford F-150 pickup, and it might just be one of the strangest old school commercials I’ve seen.
This week’s Tire Smokin’ video features a 2000 Ford F-150 powered by the base model 4.2L V6 engine. This engine in stock form offered just 217 horsepower, but with 262 lb-ft of torque, this base V6 is apparently quite capable of spinning both rear tires – even with a 3.55 rear gear.
This week’s Muddy video features a classic Ford pickup with a monster suspension and tire setup playing in the slop at the Wold Springs Mud Bog last fall.
