How do you know we didnt have it straped down? the frist picture we had just set it in from the loader and i took and picture and the 2nd one were at his dads work and we had already unstraped it the straps are laying in the bed right next to it in the 2nd picture and in the 1st picture there not even out yet. i know you like to flame me but its nice to ask maybe "Did you strap that down?" before just assuming that im gonna let a huge sail in the wind just do what ever....the bricks were under the roof and also we were only doing 20MPH not 40 so i didnt think it posed a prob this was above my roof and so we straped it also so when we took concers it didnt flip out. Could i barrow your 250 the next time i do soemthing retarded like this its not to far of a drive from MO

and yes the BFG A/T's seemed to work a lot better more max air PSI when i do dumb stuff like this too....both rear tires were at 60PSI and the fronts stayed at my normal 35PSI.

I think I've put about 200 lbs in the back of my truck and that's it.

pics remind me of my ol 97 reg cab v6 xl.

dropped the front with 2 control arms.

i took out some leafs in the back to drop it a little... worked fine, dropped it about 3-4 inches.

buddy gave me a flip kit so i tried putting it on with the missing leaf setup.. and it looked just like yours.

my problem was the bed actually sat on the pumpkin... but i had the frame notched.

i took it for a spin just to see how retarded it rode..and at 5 mph i hit a bump that actually made the pumpkin put a dent in the bed.

as far as the flamers---

its not your truck. the **** had to be moved lol. dont hate on the guy... just wait until he brakes his truck to point and laugh lol

Haha, hey shifty, are you regretting posting this thread and showing what you do with your truck yet?

I had to haul 1,900# of bagged lime in my bed a couple of times and I have to say the truck handled great. But I don't recommend doing it very often lol

geezs

You couldnt get straps big enough anways to hold the end mill.
And if you did you have to go through the bed and to the frame
The bed hooks woulnt hold it.I think the hooks are held on by what,1/4 20 thread bolts?
By the way its not the wind thats going to blow it off your truck brite one, its when your tires blowout and you your swerving all over the road because you had you tunes crankin not payin attention.its to help hold it in,so that it dosent fly out when something happens.

ha.. the wind blowin it out?
oviously the mill is pleanty heavy enough to prevent that,

Shifty ? What's the matter with you? I would have let you use my trailer.

Hang on- yeeaaa, -scratch that. You'll prolly throw an Osh Kosh on the dang thing. It'll come back lookin like a fricken banana boat or something. .

Ohh that's right , I sold it anyway

Hey, are they going to broom any more of those mills (Bridgeport's) ?

Looking for an an old V2XT or any servo model, - IF it's cheap

haha yeah i forget why we took the one to the scrap yard.... for 4,550lbs of scrap cast iron we get 2 cents per lbs so 4,550 lbs turned into like 90 bucks..... woulda sold it to you for 100 brew!!! and no i dont think my buddy has any more of those...hes running out of heavy stuff for me to haul!!!

haha you shoulda seen the trailer they had....had a brigdeport and like 4 other heavy azz machines like that in there trailer weghted over 15,000lbs and he needed it moved 2 feet back my truck sank right to the bump stops and almost stalled trying to move it back 2 feet!!! well the fan was on and full wheel crank to the left so the engine was under alot of load...i think the A/C was on too haha

Between your grammar skills and your reckless actions on public roads, I now have a headache.

Do you have any idea of the ramifications it would have on your life if you were in an accident with one of those loads?

I realize this post will have no bearing on your future "quest" for the heaviest load in a half ton, but I had to ask.
