Cool Ford Trucks are better than chevy.

:rocker:I seen lots of farmers uses ford trucks cause they are tough and they can pull anything that have lots of weights. My dad and i have ford trucks. We use them on our farm. They are 1985 F150 4x4,1984 150 4x2,1998 f150 4x4, and 1966 Ford Dump truck. They are tough. well not the 84 one. Chevy are crap. Get rid of a chevy and get a Ford cause they are useful trucks for farms and ranches.

hey boys- dont get all high and mighty about Fords now, lol- dont get me wrong i love mine- and we have had good luck with all of the ones we have here now- but we had a lemon 1992 model that was horrible. All companies have there issues- and all make some good trucks. i know a few farmers around here with some high mileage chevies that have been used pretty hard and they have been damn good. I also know some with dodges that have been good. I dont really like the dodges but i would drive a chevy any day if i didnt have my ford- i bought the ford cuz of better rebates at sale time.

Dan.

Ford's are ok, nothing special, I'm the only guy at work with a ford, every one else as the chevy, so far my f-150 is doing ok, the company I work for has a fleet of year 2000 chev half tons and van's, thier going strong, I bought a 02 ford f-50 brand new, some where the 100 was missing in that truck, but the 04 150 is serving me excellant, in a couple more months, I might start bragging abought it, First new ford I owned that went a year with no warrenty claims.

yeah, a click is a kilometer, right?
by the way, I was looking at a chevy 3500. not to buy, just to compare. The independent front suspension does not look very strong. The frame looks like a bridge beam but the IFS A-arms are thin and I think either the top or bottom one (can't remember) was stamped! If I needed real heavy duty, I'd want the SuperDuty with the solid beam axle.

I have to agree that the Ford's seem to stand up better. My wife and I have a DHL courier run up here and started with a 93 Chev 3500 Van. The van had about 90,000 miles on it when we bought it and I was constantly wrenching on the thing. In one year we went through one front end, and now it needs another. I came across a used 99 Ford E350 V10 that was ex-government for an extremely good price. I had to change out the COP's and a ABS sensor, and the usual stuff like brakes, but that's about it. The ball joints have been done as well, but the mechanic said the Ford front-ends are the strongest by far(and he's a Chev guy). This van now has 140,000 miles on it and is still going strong. After having had both, I would not go back to the Chev. And just look at the work trucks you see on the road, it's probably safe to say the Ford's outnumber everyone else by 2 to 1, especially in the one ton and up category.

Passed six construction areas this weekend. All Fords on the job. Not one Chevy or Dodge
