Somebody tell me...
Hey Fellers...
My 2000 F150 doesn't have XL or XLT on it...does that mean
it is considered a " Work Truck " ?
V6, 5 speed and nothing is power.
I really like the truck. The only problem I've found is that
cotton pinkin' notchy 3rd gear.

On a 2000, if you don't have chrome bumpers/grill/center caps, then you have a work truck.

You're Welcome ! That was nice of them. No, it came with 16" steel wheels painted grey with grey centercaps. Original tire size was P235/70/16 and General brand was common.

Does that mean my speedometer is off ?
I aint ever bought a 17" tire...bet their high.
It has Goodyear Eagle GT II 's all the way around
P275/60R17. I probably wont be able to afford them.
Hope that means the other owner had enough money
to take good care of it... Amen ?

Those are nice tires and a big improvement over the originals. Good score
! Yes, the speedometer is now off. Those are about an inch taller. You can compare the overall "HEIGHT" here.

I'll either have to get out my school books for the formula
or I hope you know. Is my speedometer slower or faster ?
I'll guess at faster...I wonder how much.

Texas, huh ?
I used to live in Denison up next to Okl.
I just recently flew to Longview for a church music seminar.
Are you near either of those places ?

Yes, DFW now and originally. I have family and work interests in and around both of those areas. I travel alot with work and crisscross those areas frequently. I really like the ar****ecture of the older homes in the Denison area. Thanks for asking.

I just did the figuring for ya.
Your tire and wheel combonation is actualy 1/10th of an inch shorter than the stock tire and wheel.
So your speedo will read a hair faster than your going. But not enough to make a difference.

That doesn't seem possible...It looks higher than the
stock set-up's that I've seen. Like in school, could you
show your math please ?
