Should I Paint the Calipers??????
#3
I painted the rear calipers and the rotor with some 1500 degree flat black engine paint (subtle) to hide the rust that could be seen through my Lightning chrome wheels. I used paint thinner to get the overspray off of the rotor surface....easy, quick job after cleaning with CRC spray brake cleaner. I'll be doing the fronts when I get some time.

Yes PAINT EM
I painted the calipers on my Impala SS, take and wire brush them first........spray them with brake cleaner to get all the dust of, take a rag and cover your rotor and all that stuff. Mask off everything else with tape, brake lines etc. ............I used an "Aluminum" paint for motors, like intakes so it can resist the heat.
It looks awesome, NOT RICEY, I can see why someone would think they look ricey if you use a colored paint but I would use either a black or silver/aluminum color.
