Question Tire Poll

Okay guys,

I can see I stumped everyone on my last question. This tire thing is getting to be a real pain.

So heres the deal. I am going to list some tire brands, and I want people to tell me how they like them, or dislike them. And maybe I can decide from there.
BFG A/T, Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX, Goodyear MTX, and Mich LTX AT or MS. I have already reviewed the tirerack, and it's not helping. Thanks.

Michelin LTX MS are awesome. My truck had no traction at all with the Firestone Wilderness tires even on dry pavement. When it rained or snowed it was a real adventure! They were also extremely spongy feeling. I put the Michelins on about 6 months ago and they are great. I have not broken traction one time with these tires, they grip like crazy. Have not had much snow or mud to test them but what I have seen they are great there too.

Michelin's are awesome but a little pricey. I guess you get what you pay for.

I've heard the BFG TKO's are outstanding, and probably one of the best on the market. They are also almost $150 at the rack!! You do get what you pay for. the TR rates them super high too...

BFG's look around on the boards and that is the tire you will see most recommended. I had some Cooper Discoverer AT's on mine before the BFG's. They looked good rode nice but they were bald in under 30K. I have some buddies with over 50 K on the BFG's.
The only down side is they are expensive just like the Michelins. You get what you pay for.

I still love my ProComps. They are wearing like steel and last winter they pulled me out of some deep stuff!

I've had the opposite experience with michelin . . very poor traction in wet and impossible in snow. they DO wear like iron however. my current favorite is Bridgestone Dueler AT . . . .

I does not matter what we think, but help us out..... What do you want????

An all season radial, a all terrain tire, or a Mud tire. Your suggestions are all over the place.

My tire replacement for my awful Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires will be Bridgestone Dueler A/T. They are highly rated and cheaper than Michelins. I had Michelin tires on my car(2 sets) and just went to Bridgestone Potenza 930's and they are twice the tire and cheaper. You don't always have to pay alot. I had BFG A/T tires on my last truck and liked them, but that was before they started making you pay MSRP for them which is like 170 per tire for 17". The Bridgestone Dueler A/T's also have a 50k or 60k warranty on them.

BFG A/T ko! For a 4x4 that is mostly on the street and occasionally off-road, you can't beat this tire. Yes they are expensive, but, IMO, they are worth the cost. I got 42,000 on my first set and I have 31,000 on this second set and have alot of tread left. (This is good mileage for me 'cause I drive my truck like it's a Mustang GT!)

Stick great on dry, wet and snow. Gooey mud tends to pack up in the tread and not clean out too good, though.

I have to say I am pretty happy with my Goodyear Wrangler ATS and had a set of Mich LTX AT's that were awesome. I am thinking about Mickey Thompson Radial MTX as my next set, but they are only B load range and 4 ply. They look great though. Anyone used have any experience with them? Thanks.
