I have a new 2002 Supercrew, with the FX4 package.
I really like the wheels and will keep them.

However I want to get bigger tires, but don't know much about it.

Anyone with experience, know the biggest size tire that the FX4 stock wheels, can take?

I am not planning to lift the truck either.

If you have FX4 wheels, and have pictures with new tires. please let me know.

Dude, there is hope!! The guys have been telling me, that you can fit a 275/70R17 or a 285/70R17 on the stock FX4 rims. I too have a 2002 Supercab FX4. I was wanting to know the same stuff. Now you have to figure out what kind of tire, and brand you want. Good luck.

You can run 305/70-17s on the stock rims for sure. I have heard a few guys claim you can fit 35s on the stock rims, but I would think you would have to trim the front bumper's lower plastic valance and/or crank up the torsion bars. This may work for a mostly street truck but I would suspect 35s would rub off-road.

check out this webiste www.tirerack.com . They have all the tire companies in there. Also it will give you an idea of how big each tire is. I too would like see pics of someone that has 285 or 275/70R17 on stock rims. Anybody out there that has'em show them off.
