I need some suggestions on tire sizes for the wheels I will be ordering very soon. Ther are 20x8.5 Boss301, most of the roads around here are decent but far from perfect. I want a good ride not have to worry about beatn' up my wheels. Thanks
I rolled some 20's w/tires up to my truck yesterday and was sold, I will post pics when I get them.

 

I have Good Year GT II 275/45/20.

 

I have the exact same Boss rims on my 01 Screw. I'm using Goodyear Eagle GT II tires, I have a 1" front and 3" rear drop. After much debating, I opted to go with 285/50R20 instead of the 275/45R20 because the 50 series will give a little softer ride than the 45 series.

 

Could either of you advise me on where to get the best prices for a set of 20 or 22's with tyres for my 01 4x4 screw.

I also want to lower it, any advice on that also appreciated. I'm in Houston, any contacts to get work done in the area also appreciated.

If you search under the size ... 275/45/20 Or whatever size you choose, they have some Eagle Gt II's for 133 a piece.. not a bad price.

I looked at tirerack, and yes there are good tire for the price. $632 shipped to me here in Ms. They also have 285/55/20, but they are on back order. I am ordering rims this weekend!!!!! And my beltech 3/4 drop also.

By the way, I have dealt with tirerack before, and it is a good company. Shipping was fast and those Kumho tire I got were great on my car.
