Comparable Tire Size

I don't know of a site, but a 265/75-15 is the same size. I know Mickey Thompson and some others make a 31x11.50-15 which is the same height, only an inch wider. BFG also makes a 325/60-15 in the AT KO which is roughly a 31x13.50-15. If you are thinking of going to 16 inch rims a 265/70-16 would be the same size. A 245/75-16 would be the same height also (31) only an inch narrower. A 265/75-16 would be the same width but approximately 32 inches tall. You could probably check any of the tire manufacturers web sites and find the exact specs on any of the tires they make.

Here's a link to enter the metric tire size and get back a converted "inch" size for the tire.
http://www.s-series.org/htm/calc/tiresizeconv.htm
Basically, the numbers in metric are easy to understand.
For instance...
275/70R16
275 mm wide = 275mm/25.4mm per inch = 10.83"
70 is the ratio of sidewall to width...10.83" x 70% = 7.581"
Now you have to double the 7.581" because you have a sidewall all the way around the rim.
So 7.581 x 2 = 15.162"
Next, add the rim size to that number... 15.162 + 16" = 31.162"
So, that tire is a 31.162"x10.83x16
See, it's kinda easy.
Hope this helps you.
