Anybody have the P255/70/16 General Grabber AW white outline tires on their truck. I have a new 02 ext cab F-150 with these tires and have had one replaced. The truck started vibrating again at speeds around 75 to 80. All my driving is highway, about 2500 miles a month and I need a smooth ride. Thanks.

 

I've got them. I hate them. Mine are smooth enough, but look like $h!t. #1, they look to small. #2 they look like they belong on a '79 Cadillac. They look like big, ugly car tires! They will be gone soon!

 

I had those tires on my 2002 f150 supercrew and just had them replaced because I hated them (way too small). I went with 305/70/16 and the truck looks much better.

 

Just got a new S'cab and came with these General tires, only 60 miles and am now looking for new tires. Firestone was the best holding and smoothest on any of my past trucks but are no longer made in this size. Am looking at a set of Bridgestone H/L's and they are rated for better traction and wear, any body tried these? Wish Firestone made the 255/70 R16's in the PV 41 model they hold up real good on our patrol cars and are better than the Generals and Goodyears in our service use. But can not get a reply from Firestone.

Try and find a dealer that sells summit tires and look at theirs. I have used summits on my car for years and their great. The price is great too. They are made by Kelly Springfield. Priced 4 255/70/16 WOL last week with everything, road hazard,life time rotate and balance and flats fixed free. $395.95.
