The other night i was at the gas station picking up a little somthin. while i was there my truck started to rol off!!! I had the parking brake on, but forogt to leave my manual in 1st. I then went and pulled it back up (only rolled bout a foot) put it in neutral, set the parking brake, sat there and it was like the parking brake wasn't there!!!

How do i tighten the wire?

 

If you have rear drum brakes just pull the drums off and turn the star wheel adjuster so the drum spins with just a slight bit of drag. Do you have any tension on the brake at all? Theres a possibility that a cable could have snapped.
