For those of you who have L wheels on you truck, where did you get them? If you dont have them on your truck but have seen where to buy them, that would be great also. I have tried www.tirerack.com and they are 229.99 on them. For those of you who have them, is this a great price or could I do better. Thanks for all you help, I really apreciate it .

Well, I've told you where I got mine. I guess Wilsons doesn't carry them anymore? Got mine there for $150.00 each w/o center caps though.
Anyway, you could always check the classifieds. Lightning owners are always selling their wheels for one reason or another. Or you could also post a message on the Lightning forum saying you're looking for some. You could try NLOC.net too.

The good think with TireRack is they send you center caps AND lugs from what I hear so it's not such a bad deal after all. Is that true Phillip? Did you ask them about that?

 

Got mine from E-bay. Dealer took them off to replace with chrome rims. Got the new set for $500. 2001 style

 

I tried tirerack and they are out of them and said ford motorsport has discontiued that rim. ( So I guess the L will have new rims after all) I just got off the phone with wheel exchange,and they are selling 4 of them with center cap for $950. so thats $35 more than tirerack. I have seen some on the classifedes for like $1300, but have like 5K miles on them. I guess I will look around some more. They also have some chrome for $1250, but are on back order for 2 weeks.

 

Ask around the board Phillip and check the classifieds.

I personally only like chrome wheels on Black vehicles. But it probably won't look bad on your truck. See if any of the White L owners have pics with chrome wheels on their trucks for an ideal of what it will look like.
