American Racing Wheels
Does anyone out there have American Racing Wheels on their F-150? In particular, I'm looking for people with Python or Atlas wheels. I'm thinking of putting some on my '01 Screw and want to get some opinions and pics of your Atlas/Pythons. Also, let me know what tires and sizes your running so I'll know what the pic shows. Thanks guys!!

Thanks for help so far guys. I've got to figure out the diameter difference between 33's, 32's, 31's and some of the bigger tires sizes like 315 and 305.
kkirt, I like your truck. That is the look I'm goig for. Looks like my black screw, except mine is 2wd. I have some torsion bar cranking in my future. Did you have to trim the lower valance at all to make the 305's fit??? Thanks!

i have an american racing NOOZ chrome 18 x 8 with 285/60/18 mich. tires, 31.5 tall. I have done the lowered truck low profile thing and the lifted big tire thing - this is my favorite . this size fills the wheel wells just right. the rims must be very "true" because my ride is very smooth.

I too am contemplating an Atlas wheel in a 16x8 but can't decide from Polished OR Chrome?
Any opinions?
I already have a set of ProComp AT's 305/70/16's!
I'm only gonna use these wheels in the summer so they won't get exposed to the winter salt.
All I know is that Chrome is hell of a lot more expensive.

No, I didn't have to trim anything and have no rubbing problems. I have had better tires (BFG A/T) but these look good, ride decent, and didn't cost an arm and a leg.
As far as chrome or polished... well, chrome would be easier to take care of but the extra dough is to much. I clean mine with Mothers a few times a year and they stay in pretty good shape. I even run them through the winters and have had no compliants.
Take care!

F-150 AR/Atlas Wheels for sale-
I have a set of 16 x 8 AR/Atlas wheels, wrapped in 295/60/16 Goodyear Eagle GT-II's. I had them on my 1999 F-150 SCab, and my 2000 Expedition. I just bolted on some AR/Vanguard 20"'s on my 2000 Expedition. The tires still have about 15-20K miles left on them, but as with any performance tire, there is, and was never a tread life warranty.
I am asking $600.00 for wheels & tires, but I'll only sell them as a set. (I need to get rid of them to get my garage space back).
They are polished and still look great.
You can see them at:

Serious inquiries, e-mail me at: dontstartnone@yahoo.com
