Keep stock 17's of buy 16's Please help

I have a 99 f150 orp. I have the 265 75 17's on my truck and i'm wanting a better look. I thought about buying 16-8 or 16-10 wheels with 285 75 16's. Also thought about keeping stock 17's and buying the new BF goodrench 285 75 17. I figured this might be the cheaper rought. Which one you guys think would look best. Have you heard or seen anybody with the new BFG 17 tires. Thanks alot for your help.

Check out my 99 ORP with stock wheels and 35" procomp mudterrains. I have a 3" body lift, but if you want to stay with the stock lift, the 33" procomp tires will fit fine.

Cool

I have a set of the new 285/70/17 BFG M/t K/m on the stock rims they are sweet make the truck look way better than the stock tires the ride is suprisingly quiet for a mud tire keep your stock wheels and get the bfg's it will save you a bunch of money and it will make your truck look sweet

cost of 285-70-17 bfg

How much do the BFG 285 70 17 cost, and can you tell a big difference in your truck's power and performance. Also what exactly does a 285 75 16 come to. is it a 32 or 33 inch tire and what's the width.Would you recomend putting them on 16by8 or 16by10. I appreciate the help.

Cool

I think I paid about $160 a tire for the 17" the 285/75/16 are specked out at 33" and 11.3" wide that is on the 8" rim they are pretty much the same size as the 17" but they show the 17 as 11.5" wide on a 8 1/2" rim they are both rated for a 7 1/2-9" rims I suppose 8" would be about the best rim size I think a 10" rim would be too big the tires listed for $190 a tire but I found them cheaper at Costco and discount tire beat the price buy a few bucks anyway hope this helps you out.
