Will 33's fit.??
Hello Im new here so please bear with me.
I just bought a new Screw 4X4 with the FX4 package and had a tire question.
I was told that I can take of the 17 factory rims/Tires and go back with 16 inch ones , but I forgot to ask if I could fit 33 x 12.5 tires on it without having to cut on anything?
If anyone knows or has a pic I would love to see one. And I would appreciate your help..
Thanks

On a 98 S/C 4x4 I have the 275/70/17 Goodyear AT/S tires (33.4" overall diameter) without trouble. They actually don't look big at all. Bigger & better than the OE RT/S tires. Very expensive in Canada though... $245 each!
16" rims would make the same diameter tire appear larger because there is more rubber sidewall area.

About 1400 to 1600 miles. NTB said they have 98+% tread on them. They are M/T's. I replaced the 33" M/T's when I lifted and put 35" Xterrains on her. I have updated my gallery, check them out.

I'm running 305/75-16 Goodyear AT-S on 16X8 American Racing Outlaw IIs. I think if the rim was wider than the 8", the lower valance would need to be trimmed. I didn't have to trim anything with the 8" rim.
To fst96se - what is the actual offset on your wheels. I think the standard offset on the 16X8 is 4.5", but I'm curious what you are using to fit 35" on a stock Xped. It looks great, IMO!!!
