Tire/Wheel size

Found an auction on Ebay selling a set of four new Ford Factory wheels with brand new 265/75R16 tires on them including center caps for $450 plus $120 shipping. The deal says that the set will only fit 99-2002 F150's... What is the difference as far as tires/wheels goes between those years and a 1998 F150?. Will they fit a 98? Any help would be great. Thanks Tom

My guess would be that the newer rims are drilled for the 14mm lugs, while your 98 has 12mm lugs. Yes, you can put them on your 98 because the center (load bearing) hub is the same. You cannot, however, put your 98 rims/wheels on a 2002.
