Superlift Truespeed

Has anyone installed Superlift's Truespeed unit to adjust speedometer? If so, does it work?

Can someone please explain how the superlift truspeed works exactly? Also, how much does it cost and where to buy? Thanks for your help.

4 Wheel Parts Wholesale sells it for about $190.00.
Product info is in Super Lift's web site under new products.
I called the tech line and they currently have no application for 2WD. Bummed me out!

I may try the following as well.

I know Dallas Mustangs sell a device called SpeedCalc for the late model mustangs to recalibrate your speedometer after gear and or tire changes. I will give them a call tomorrow and see if they make one for our trucks or it the one they have will work. I will let you know. Thanks for your help.

truspeed

yeah...i got mine for $185 and i was quoted $200-400 installation and i read over the instructions about ten to twelve times trying to see what was soo hard and then installed it in an hour and a half! Basically on my 2001 5.4l you ground the black wire hook up the red to the specified fuse in fuse box and route the green and yellow to transmission sensor on side of transmission. Cut the signal wire-on mine it's the blue/yellow wire-and crimp the yellow and green wires to the specified ends of the signal wire. it may sound a little complicated when explained on here but it's really simple!!!!
