squealing brakes while off-roading

The last time I went off-roading my brakes started squealing like there was no tomorrow after a couple of hours of trail riding. Now...it makes sense that the brakes would get really hot with the constant stop and go braking that a tight, hilly trail has to offer. But should the brakes be squeaking at the slightest touch of the brake pedal? It felt almost like they started squeaking before I hit the pedal, and continued until I came to a complete stop. Is this normal? Under normal driving they also squeak, but not nearly as bad. So I have it at the dealer now, and they say nothing is wrong. Rotors are not warped, pads are good, and it's because of the heat. Is there anything I can do about this? I have aftermarket wheels, and the truck is lifted if that makes a difference. Any other off-roaders having the same problem? What did you do?

wash them. Most likely you got some dirt in the pads
