Anyone running 22's?

I am currently runnng 20's on my supercab f150 with a 3/5 drop. I am thinking of going with 22x10's all the way around. My question is dealing with tire sizes. I want the most rubber I can fit. Any suggestions?

My friend is running this size rims with a 3/5 but I believe he is running 305/30's or something insane like that. He already bent the rims in several places. There is still some space between his tires and the fenderwell so I believe a lot more meat can be stuffed under there. I was thinking 305/45's or larger if possible. If not, I'm sticking with the 20's.

I am willing to lay money that 305/45's will rub when you turn. I have 295/45R20's, and they rub when I turn on the inside, but come pretty close to the outside fender flare as well. And my truck is stock height except for the 2" rear shackles. I can't speak from experience, but the 20's are starting to push it, so just a warning.

T hanks man, I was afraid of that. DAMN they look soooooo good though. What's your rim width? Are you running 295/45 all the way around?

My current set up is 20x10 rear with 295/45's Toyo S/T's.
Front I went with 20x8.5 with 265/50's. They fit perfect. Maybe a slight rub on full turns in the front against the plastic fender wells. The fat rear and thinner front give it a hot rod look. Something a little different from everyone else. Enough rubber not to have to really worry. I would have to drive around like a little old lady if I went with 22's.

305/30's! Wow! I would never run a tire like that on a daily driver! I would freak out going over the smallest bumps and holes in fear of bending a rim. I run 275/45/20 now, and I curse potholes that pop up from no where and pray there was no damage. I sometimes wish I have 22's but I came up with a simple solution (if you like billet wheels, like me )! I'd order 20's that come in "fat lip" or "soft lip" styles that give the appearance of 22's but offer more tire sidewall protection! Budnik and Boyd Coddington have some pretty sweet wheels in that type of style!

Yeah, I'm running 295/45R20 Toyo Proxes S/T's on the Harley 20's (20x9 or 9.5) all the way around. Hmm, with your current setup, you can't rotate at all... I was kind of mad that I can only go front to back. Those directionals really limit your options. Mine don't rub the plastic since I am running stock height, just the sway bar tips when I turn full on (I think that's what it is anyway). I've noticed some evidence of it when I wash it well. It actually did that on my 285/50R18's too though, so I am not really surprised.
