I have been thinking of getting either chrome or aluminum rims for my 98 F-150 supercab. Since I live in the land of snow and ice, which means a lot of road salt I just don't know if it is a good idea. My wife has painted aluminum wheels on the '01 windstar SE and they seem unaffected by the road grime. I was wondering if anyone has painted their stock steel rims to match the paint on their truck. Mine is maroon. Not sure how it would look, or what the pro's and con's are, hoping for some guidence or advice. Please be kind, it is just a thought..........
