Can I get rims powder coated?

Just a thought, but I know I can get billet grills powder coated black, and I thought, having everything on my truck clear or black, but can I get rims powder coated? I'm sure it has to be able to be done, but has anyone even heard of this? I know its kind of out there, but I think it might look kind of cool.

You can get just about anything powdercoated. I have all my sportbike wheels done and I had a set of Mustang wheels done white. I love powdercoat, the clean up is a breeze. And if it is a good job it has a good shine and smooth look.

Go to www.eastwoodcompany.com and you can buy your own powder coating set up for under $200.00. Use an old oven to cure the parts.

I don't own one and have not personally tried the Hot Coat powder coating set up. If anybody has one or has used it post results.

Try and do what I did. I found a trade school that had an Industrial Coatings department and had them do mine, free. They are always looking for projects for the students. They did an excellent job. The only condition was that if they didn't have the color I had to supply the material. They had 10-15 to choose from.

I have never had it peel, chip or lose its color. And I have had it on four wheeler tires that have been beating to death.
