Best stock tires I've ever rode on.

I put new tires on my 08 SuperCrew last fall. So far the stock size Michelin Defenders are the best set of tires I've ever had on any of my trucks. Super traction on dry wet and snowy roads. Quiet rolling.

Have others had similar experiences?

I've been running Michelins almost exclusively on my vehicles for decades. They run quiet, smooth, and last a long time. I don't have snow to deal with so I run the p metric tires on my truck.

I spent my $70 already. Nothing exciting, just some brackets for my bed. It comes as a credit card that works like a gift card with a $70 balance.

Unless you buy from Sams club where you get the $70 cash discount when you buy. I buy from Sam's because they usually have the best prices and they rotate and balance the tires every 10k or so miles for no additional charge for the life of the tires.

I just got back from Discount Tire. They beat Sam's price by over $5 a tire, and they have the same service package as Sam's for $16 a tire. Sam's package is $15 a tire.

We got an email from Costco today with the Michelin tire $70 off deal AND $0.01 charge per tire installation instead of their usual $15. For 2 days only. I also checked their prices for Michelins for my car and their regualar price was $8 less than Sams for the same tire. So, anybody who wants some new Michelins and you are a member of a Costco, it may be a good deal for yah.
