How Far Will my Tires Stick Out?

Hey all! I have a 2005 5.4L F-150 Lariat, 2.5" Level 2WD. I'm in the market for my first new set of wheels/tires and after much research I'm stumped!! My main problem is that I don't want my tires sticking out crazy far. I don't mind getting fender flares, I just want to know ahead of time if I should. So, if anyone could answer the following it would be greatly appreciated!

Right now, I'm running a 285/65/r18 Nitto Terra Grappler tire (approximately 11.5" wide) on the stock 18"x7.5" wheel. From what I understand, the backspacing is 5.5" and the offset is +18mm.

How much further would my tires stick out if they were 12.5" wide on a 20"x9" wheel. This new wheel would have a 5" backspace and the offset is +0mm. And what about if the offset is +18mm?

This is my first post, I apologize if it's in the wrong section. I just can't seem to fully grasp the concept
Thanks for your time!

A 9 inch wide wheel with 5 inches of BS will stick out 2 inches farther than the stock wheels.
