No-Lift wheel and tire upgrades?
Update:
Does anyone know if you can run 1" wider w/o a lift kit (e.g. 275/70/R18)?
Rough calculations show that even upgrading the wheel/tire size and lifting to accommodate the extra girth, will put me too close to the limit for garages in my area.
From the internet:
[77.30"] Ford F-150 S-crew 4x4 w/ 157" base
[02.00"] + BFG KO2 275/65/20 upgrade
[02.00"] Minimum levelling kit required
-------------------------------------------------------
[81.30"] Total resulting height.

This is the last accessory decision I have to make before my truck gets here ('15 F-150).
Height limitations are very real where I have to travel for work. 7.0' (84", the F-150 stock height is about 74") is the _tallest_ garage where I'll be parking, so I'm looking at the best no-lift wheel and tire packages I can get.
Looking for feedback on the forums how you would do it. Here's my plan:

- 0.7" from the beams in the major shopping malls in my area (82" - 6'10")
- 2.7" from the beams in the garage at work, not counting speed bumps (84")

Looking for feedback on the forums how you would do it. Here's my plan:
- Swap factory 18x9" chrome-like PVD factory rims w/ XD Series Monster IIs of the same size.
- Swap factory LT275/65R18C factory ATs w/ same size BFG KO2s
- Keep the wheels and tires as super nice spares OR try to sell them.
Questions:
- Larger tire? Will it fit w/o a lift (my research says no, but curious what you think)
- Larger rim? Any point in trying to put a larger rim on there? How do you folks think the 18s look vs. 20s on the 2015s?
- Gas mileage impact? If these work w/o lifting, anyone see these
- If I did decide to lift, is 2"-3" enough to go up a size on the tire 1/ an 18" rim (e.g. a 285)?
