Cooper Discoverer ATP's Installed

Went from my stock 265/60/18's to a set of Michelin tires and they had a bad vibration after 2 days so went back to discount.. I was wanting the Nitto Terra Grappler but the guy at discount really talked great about these coopers.. Its a 55k mile tire and the reviews seem good so i went with the 275/65/18's

So far they seem quite and well mannered on the road..

On to the Pics

I have always like white letters out, especially on a dark vehicle. But lot of people like black out

Well, he needs all the help he can get with that little V6. Do they help with the sound too?

Michelin and a vibration, say it isn't true! Did the Michelins balance with more than 3 oz per wheel?

Cooper tires look good on your truck.

Cool

Nice. You'll like them. Some people do, some don't like Cooper tires. Been using Cooper tires for years. Have Cooper Cobras on my '94 T'bird, and a set of the Weathermaster II's for the winter. I have two sets of the AT3's for my truck and a set of the Discoverer M+S for winter duty. Love them.

I really like em.. Especially the no road noise to speak of, but yet they grip 100 times better than the oem michelins ever did.. I can actually mash the go pedal and the truck takes off instead of screaming the tires. But can still break em loose easily if needed (or wanted)

Going to be interesting how the treadwear does, hoping i can get close to the 55k out of em

Cool

Tread wear on my AT3's seem to be OK. I pulled the first set off the truck in March of last year when I put the new chrome rims on. They had about 21,000 miles on them. The tread wear was even. I didn't notice any cupping. I rotated them regularly at around every 5,000 miles or so. Tread depth had measured around 9-10mm for the front and between 8-9mm for the rears at that time. I have the P275/65-18, 116T tires. Tread depth new is 13mm. I just put my chrome KMC rims with the second set of AT3's back on for summer duty. When I pulled them last fall there was about 8,200 miles on them. I just measured the tread depth on them to be about 8-10mm. About the same depth on them at less mileage, as compared to the first set. But.........About the same time I put them on, I had bought a SCT Livewire. And having a few Performance tunes to try out, well... you know

Just thought i would update.. I have about 13,500 miles so far on the coopers.. They have been great, Still quite and have great traction. Ive had them rotated twice now and have no noticeable wear at all. Most would say my driving is very spirited

Would still recommend this tire!

I've had Cooper Discover ATPs on my 2006 and now on my 2011. Awesome tires all the way around. Great wear, traction and very quiet on and off the road. Better than most tires twice their price.

24k miles and still at 8/32nd's tread. They have been great so far and no reason they shouldn't last until 60k easily. Great tire for the money.
