how to get a 15 inch wheel to fit on a 2010 f150

Okay i have a 2010 4x4 crew cab f150 lariat and i have a set of 15x10 wheels with 35x16x15 Super SwamperBoggers on them that i wanna put on my 2010 f-150 you know if its possible to..the wheels an tires come off my six lug Toyota which has the same lug pattern as a six lug Chevrolet...I found a billet set of wheel adapters that go from 6x135 lug pattern to 6x5.5 lug pattern which is from a 6 lug ford to a 6 lug Chevy..but I've been told by multiple people that the smallest wheel that will fit on my truck is a 16 due to how big the break caliper an rotor is...but i was thinking that with a inch an a quarter adapters all the way around with a set of 2 inch wheel spacers bolted to the adapters all the way around that the 15 inch wheels an tires should fit because the adapter an spacers combined would be 3 inches an a quarter of another one which in my eyes should be far enough away from the caliper an rotor that 15 inch wheels would fit...but thats just my opinion an thats why im asking yall so yall can help me...So if you or somebody you may know can give me or have any tips or info on how to make my 15x10 wheels an 35x16x15 Super Swamper Boggers fit on my 2010 f-150 it be much appreciated..I mean all i really need to know is if it will work with just the adapters or would i have to get a set of wheel spacers to an if so what size an name brand would you prefer???I'd really appreciate it if yall could help me out quick an get back to me ASAP...Thanks,Cash

No.... just no. the smallest wheel on a 2010(04+ as well) is a 17". i have 17's on my 04 and theres about 1/4" between the wheel and the stud on the lower balljoint. 3-1/4" of "spacer" is a terrible idea for any vehicle. just no... no. Please sell your truck and get an 87 chevy to mess up.

well my f-150 is not lifted just leveled out an dropped 2 inches in the back an the actual wheel adapter itself isn't considered a spacer its just says that its an inch an a quarter thick...i think my truck would look bad *** because i was mistaking the wheels are 15x12's an the tires are 35 inches tall 16 inches wide...So you can only imagine how wide this wheel an tire setup is...I don't care if its a terrible idea i just wanna know if the wheels an tires will go on using both the adapters an spacers together..instead of just using the adapters... if they will fit my truck would be one of a kind an have a look an stance like no other..

an see my buddy has a truck the year model of yours an he put 35x12.50r20 mud grapplers on it with a set of 2011 grey fx4 stock 20s an it ate all the grip off the sidewall the side that's closest to the struts...my year model truck has alot more room under the fenders than your model truck does bud

^^^ *sigh* I suspected as much.

If you will not even listen to excellent, sage advice out of concern for you, then I don't think there is anything more to discuss.

NO rational being would do such a boneheaded thing as you are planning. Things will BREAK and you will hurt yerself, or FAR worse, someone else. At this point hurting yerself would be provident, in a Darwin Award kind of way ...

I fear that, if you continue down this path, you will soon be changing yer screen name to "Crash123"

MGD out.

No. It's not gonna work. Terribly unsafe for starters. And only leveled? You'd need to bump up to like 8-10" of lift to clear a 35x16 on the correct wheels, let alone the terrible contraption your trying to put together.

You'd need to get the wheels down to 0" or less backspacing. So whatever the backspacing is is the thickness you'd need in a spacer/adapter/whatever. But those tires don't have a chance with as little lift you have.

Completely different trucks with different suspensions. Can't compare the two. 35x12.50's will scrub on a leveled 4x4 if the wheels are different than stock specs. 16" wide tire, extremely aggressive tread pattern, and a 12" wide wheel? All those together mean more and more lift. And that's all assuming you got correct wheels for the truck and weren't trying to space the all the way out. But it's just not gonna happen. You could space it out enough and put a 15" wheel on there and spin it around, but I wouldn't try to drive it down the street. It's just way too much leverage.

Awesome man, good for you. If you think you can fit them and run them with a leveling kit and some wheel spacers/adapters go for it, it's your truck to do as you please with, I've given you the advice I have.

Why did you even bother to post and ask advice when you refuse to listen? Go back to your ricer boards.
