275/65-20 Toyo's on my new FX4
I'm not sure why the first thread I posted has a title but no content once you open it. I had put together a lengthy "thank you" to the many posters here that have contributed with info and or picture on tire threads. I'm not typing the big post again so here are just the key points:
-trolled here for about 3 weeks trying to determine the best tire for what I wanted (all around performer, mildly aggressive look, similar width and weight to the factory tire plus good tread wear).
-don't want to lift or level my truck but wanted a tire to fill the wheel wells up.
-decided on the Toyo open Country A/T II 275/65-20
-wanted to post a "thank you" for all the help plus pics of my results in case anyone else is looking for similar info

's did. The stock Pirelli's seemed to have either a light vibration or flat spots. I only drove them about 60 miles before I yanked them off though.
No rubbing at all. In fact I just checked last night to see if I can fit a molded mud flap on and it's got plenty of room for that. They are just slightly louder than the Pirelli's but nothing you notice with just the radio on. I had Hankook ATM's on my last truck and after about 15,000 miles they had gotten progressively louder. Doing my research before buying these tires I didn't find anyone complaining about that. I hope that holds true as they wear.
I did drive in some rain the other night and the tires did great. They are brand new with full tread so time will tell on overall rain traction
I only have about 500 miles on them at this point but I'm extremely satisfied with look, ride, noise (or lack of) and size.
FWIW I've got the ecoboost with 3:55's pushing this combo. With the truck being brand new and 500 miles under my belt I'm averaging 17 MPG with a mix of about 70/30 highway/city driving.

Tires are great at this point. I put about 450 miles on them over the weekend. I think they actually ride better than the stock Pirelli

This time around I'm going to leave it at the stock height but want a bigger all terrain than what they come with.

Nice, I have the 3.55 rear end on my FX4 too. I'll add the Toyo's to the list then. I had them on my 2004 but switched up to Mud Grapplers when I leveled the truck.
