Just got my new AT 2's yesterday, 285/75/18. I love them, ride is smooth and the tires don't rub at all and are not noisy when on the highway.

Talking sorry for taking so long...been over on the GT3 forum...tee hee

Well, I think they look like my Nitto Grapplers... a bit more aggressive. They are 10ply vs grappler 8 ply, so i was wondering if I could feel a difference in ride - they ride great and are quiet. I like 'em, just hope to get 45k+ out of them.

4/24/13 EDIT - So far, so good for past 3 months (3000mi). However, I have noticed they are louder then the my previous Nitto's, but nothing like a mud tire and I have realized they are firmer when hitting cracks or expansion joints in the road. Good looking tire !

They look great man and you'll be very happy with them! Had the 35x13x18 Open Country A/Ts and loved them on my 08 with a 6 inch lift. When I traded the truck in I had about 40k on the tires and had plenty of tread left. Enjoy them!

We actually just got these back in stock yesterday, but no telling how long they'll last. The Xtreme tread is basically a more aggressive sidewall, the treads are almost identical.

That's great to hear b/c that's what I'm fixing to order. Unless I can get a deal on the trail graps.

Yes but the Extremes also have a deeper tread....16/32 to the non Extremes 13/32.
Quite noticeable when they are side by side.
The 285/55/20 weighs 59lbs
The 275/60/20 weighs 43lbs
If I want to stick close to stock size of 275/55/20 these are it.
The 285/55s are an LT tire, the 275/60s are P rated.
Love the look of the Extreme but gaining 16lbs of weight per tire is sure to take a hit on the mpg....
My siped almost worn out Hankooks are barely adequate right now but hope to drag them out till next fall.

I have had the LT285/75/18 on my leveled FX4 for about 2 months now and all I can say are these things ROCK! Hardly took any weight to balance 3/4oz was the most on one side. Put on steel valve stems that we usually use on the steel 19.5 ford rims and they havent even lost a pound of pressure. When you order they get'em through Tread Depot cust service is excellent and shipping was fast.

Looking forward to a few years with these new Toyo's (35-12.50-20) - on national back order so was lucky to find a set. They do look about the same as the grapplers.... haven't mounted them yet.
Will post mounted pics next week.

Any thoughts after living with them for a little while? My mud graps are as killed as can be and I can't decide whether or not to go back to the BFG All-Terrains or these in 35's.
